ペリック (Perrik)

During a rendez-vous with her boyfriend Charles, Charlotte of Hohenstein is murdered. The first suspect is of course Charles who might benefit because the Hohensteins are quite wealthy. Police inspector Perrik and his assistant Harry believe in his innocence. There are two other suspects: A professional assassin and Kuno of Hohenstein, who is her father.

The couple at the beginning of the film are actually a duck (Charlotte) and a dog (Charles). Her father is a rabbit (Kuno).

The settings includes the harbour of Hamburg.
