After walking a bit aimlessly around Seoul I felt hungry and I took the subway 3 (the orange one) to Anguk. I love the Insadong area, especially the nice mall Ssamziegil, which has four floors but no stairs.

Finding the sights can be difficult – not all of them are signed out. Of course I checked a few tourist websites but when the map at the station doesn’t show anything and going out through the right exit leaves you in the middle of nowhere, it’s quite difficult to find what you are looking for.

Of course I wanted to get out as soon as possible. Like in Japan, not all banks accept international cards and those that do, don’t seem to advertise this feat much. What I’m still not getting quite used to is the currency (Won).

Today’s my first trip to an Asian country other than Japan. It was also the first time that I took a flight from Narita which is not heading to Europe. First I wanted to travel to Singapore but the ticket was too expensive so I switched my plans to Seoul.
