Farewell, language lab

Me and the language lab will never become good friends but today we were informed that this is our last lesson in the language lab. So now no more chorus repeating what was just said on tape, no more “Anata ha onna no hito desu”* and no more the teacher’s voice coming out of the headphone with a praise after over-pronouncing the required phrase in a manner that would qualify one for the Morning Musume group.

(*typically said in exercises featuring a conversation between a man and  a woman. In all exercises, the student always had to play the female role 😉 (which is roughly the meaning of the sentence))
